Revu users can upload their PDF documents to Studio Server behind their company firewalls where security is controlled and monitored by IT.
IT Administrators can determine the number of days or months before a Studio session is archived or deleted, or choose to never delete sessions at all.
The Studio Server administrator can set the file size, number of files, number of attendees, and size of markups that are allowed when creating or participating in a Studio session.
Configuration settings allow the administrator to connect to a database, change portal settings, verify users, specify an email address for session notifications, link to and detect static or dynamic IP addresses, create certificates or change expired certificates.
Hosting Studio Server on a local network allows administrators to control performance and speed which determine how quickly users are able to upload and open PDF files, add markups, and chat during sessions.
The administrator can export all Studio Server configurations as an XML file and import data on to a new server for easy migration.
Studio Portal allows IT to monitor all of the activity on the Studio Server including the time and date of collaboration sessions, what documents are uploaded to sessions, markups added to PDF files, session chat history, user emails, session attendees, user restrictions, and more.
