Frequently Asked Questions

What is required to become a Bluebeam Reseller?

While our products are useful in any industry, we look for Resellers with established relationships with CAD or professional users in the following industries: Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Law, Government, and Educational Institutions.

What am I required to do as a Bluebeam Reseller?

You decide the level you would like to participate as a Reseller through our two-tiered partner program. We call it the "Bluebeam Rally Program." It puts you in the driver's seat, or in the pit crew.

What resources are available to me as a Reseller?

Bluebeam can assist you with everything from generating leads to closing the sale. We can provide customized partner training, industry one-sheets to help you sell, brochures, trial CDs, marketing materials (available for download on our partner page), slide presentations, quarterly sales plans, and NFRs. Our entire team is available to help, from channel and account managers to technical support specialists, application engineers and developers. We can even host customer-tailored demos and webinars for the leads you generate.

What marketing materials are available to me as a Reseller?

Bluebeam provides marketing materials on the partner site that resellers can use to promote Bluebeam products. Electronic marketing materials include brochures and pricing sheets, product comparisons, promotional copy, and logos and images to use on your company's website.

How do my customers download free trials from my company website?

All Resellers receive a customized download link that can be emailed to prospective customers or posted on your company website. When a customer uses your link to download a free trial of software, they will be identified as your lead and forwarded to you for follow up.

How does Bluebeam know whether a user that downloaded a trial from the Bluebeam website is my customer?

Your customized download link contains a multi-digit source code that is specific to you. Leads that have your source code are automatically identified as your leads and forwarded to you. So, it is important that you utilize and maintain these links.

How do I submit an order to Bluebeam?

Resellers can email a purchase order to partners@bluebeam.com or fax it to 626.398.9210.

How does Deal Registration work at Bluebeam?

Driver level resellers may request deal registration of an additional 5% for orders of more than $10,000 by net new Bluebeam customers. Deal registration is valid for 90 days, and is renewable for another 90 days upon request and approval. Requests for deal registration must be submitted by email to partners@bluebeam.com. Bluebeam will cross-reference each request with other records in the database and will notify the salesperson by email if the entry is accepted or not. For more details on deal registration, email partners@bluebeam.com.

How long does it take to process an order?

Purchase orders that are faxed or emailed to Bluebeam are processed within one business day. (U.S. holidays are an exception).

How is Bluebeam software delivered to customers?

All customers receive an email from registration@bluebeam.com containing a digital license certificate with a serial number and product key to register their downloaded trial. The digital license certificate also contains a link to download the software if they need to reinstall for any reason. Bluebeam sends regular shipments of CDs to our Resellers to give to their customers that purchase our software. If a customer requests a CD, and the Reseller does not have one, Bluebeam will ship one directly to the customer as a courtesy, no charge.

Where can I find answers to my customer's technical questions?

Resellers should serve as a first line of support for their customers. However, advanced technical questions can be emailed to support@bluebeam.com. Resellers should review our help and technical articles under the Support section on our website before referring customers to Bluebeam technical support.

How do I handle technical questions from customers?

If your customer has a technical question that you are unable to answer and you are unable to find the answer in the FAQ section of our Support page, your customer can email support@bluebeam.com. A member of our experienced technical support team will provide your customer with the support they need.

How do I know when new product information or new announcements are released?

Bluebeam will notify Resellers via email when important product information is released.

Who are Bluebeam's customers?

Anyone who works with PDFs (and who doesn't) is a potential Bluebeam customer. Bluebeam helps migrate pretty much any paper-based workflow to PDF by making it easy to create and work with PDFs.
